Nicholas J. Sherman Writer/Director/Editor Nicholas is based out of Los Angeles. A student of philosophy, Nicholas focuses on writing character-based comedies that makes us laugh and challenge the way we view the world. He and his co-writer Andrew Shearer were the winners of the 2007 Nicholl Fellowship with their comedy Holy Irresistible. Another script, Son Up was the winner of the 2007 Cinequest Screenwriting Competition. Nicholas also edited the award-winning short film Son Up, directed by Andrew Shearer, with whom he has co-edited numerous ESPN and TV-ONE shows. Nicholas has recently completed a feature-length documentary, Soundtracker: A Portrait of Gordon Hempton, which he produced and directed. Soundtracker will be making it’s U.S. Premiere in February at the Sedona International Film Festival and will be released on DVD later this year. Nicholas was also the Director of Photography on Journey from Zanskar, shot on location in the Himalayas and directed by Frederick Marx. Journey from Zanskar is currently enjoying a festival run.
